Today Mirinda had Book Group so I took off, up to the flat, for the monthly clean. It was another beautiful day.
The Co-op clearly thinks the Canary Central branch is going to be a real winner. They are pouring a lot of investment into it. Today they were installing the refrigeration units. Trucks blocked the narrow road, making it very difficult for the traffic to move about. Even the trucks. At one stage, the big white truck had to pull in its mirrors and the driver of the big red truck had to take his off in order for them to pass.
I’m hoping the addition of a big Co-op at the bottom of the building is going to make things a lot better than relying on Tesco and home delivery. At any rate, it will be good to have somewhere close to buy milk again.
When I went shopping, I snapped this between two buildings. I have no idea what it is but it seems to join two council houses across a walk through. I’ve always been intrigued by it.
Even though I took my time, it didn’t take long to finish and I was soon on my way back home, enjoying Season 5 of The Walking Dead on my tablet.
I popped into Waitrose on the way home, walking along the Park home. It looked lovely in the afternoon sun.

That would have been a lovely walk.
Love mum xx
What’s the little black dot in the middle of the path?
