Mud and scrub

Yesterday I started cleaning the terrace tiles. I started with the easy half. The second, much dirtier half, I cleaned today.

It’s the first time I’ve cleaned them but, given the delightful weather we’ve had currently, I thought it was time to do it. On Saturday I looked longingly at a beautiful German steamer and today I filled a blue bucket with hot water, tile cleaner, dunked a mop in it and started pushing and scraping.

It took me most of the day though this was because I had to do half, leave it to dry then clean the other half. I also had to refresh the water a few times once it turned black.

Apart from leaving the occasional pawprints across the clean tiles, the puppies just watched and waited for their walk.

It was another beautiful day, full of Emma running and Day-z chasing and tackling her, Emma trying to make friends and play with every dog she saw while Day-z snarled at them. Then, rarely for Emma, she sat down for a bit for a rest.

I thought the woods that lead up to the back of the Ranger’s House looked rather photogenic today and took this.

And, of course, what would a walk in the Park be without a photograph of Emma running at full tilt.

By the end of the day, the terrace looked lovely. I didn’t bother taking a photo but did get this of the puppies proudly sitting on my handiwork.

Ahhhhh
