Mirinda up and out by 6am. Amazing.
We had an offer on Folly Hill – £170k. Need to talk to Mirinda about it so had to wait. Then, when I got home from work, there was a message saying we’d had an offer for the full asking price! No need to talk to Mirinda – that’s an offer we’ll accept without question.
Mirinda didn’t call, so I couldn’t give her the good news.
The Launch Centre was made redundant today. Anna Fucking Glazebrook and Elaine have a month’s notice. After that, there’ll be no more Help Desk.
We (QA) had a brief chat with Steve Johnson and he’s planning a new world where CPs (Content Providers) send QA requests via a website. He also envisages other QA tasks coming under our banner. This is now, officially, frightening. Mind you, he did ask “Who else could do your job?” Sadly, we’re NOT the only QA people in the company.
Chris is away in the US so unable to talk to anyone properly. And after such positive feedback, too!
Also, all but two CDMs (Commercial Development Managers) have gone, including Laki Lee – can’t say that I’m particularly sad about that one.
Sleep wasn’t easy without Mirinda at home…but I somehow managed.
