I left work at 2:30, met Mirinda at Aldershot, packed a few things in Sidney, went to Halifax in Alton to collect the keys and, finally, arrived at our new home.
It is so lovely. All it needs is some paint in a couple of rooms.
Reluctantly we returned at about 6pm.
Reading The Full Montezuma by Peter Moore, an Australian travel writer. I don’t like him as much as others I’ve read but he tells a couple of good yarns. I find him a bit annoying and am amazed that the girl (GND – the Girl Next Door) who travels with him actually stays as far as page 422 (where I’m up to) because I’d have left after page 20!
