Surrey County Ploughing Match & Country Fair, Loseley Park,

Organised by the Surrey County Agricultural Society and held
at Loseley Park, the Surrey County Ploughing Match & Country Fair is more
than a mouthfull! We went along on Sunday 25 September 2005 to see the dog agility
and maybe some ploughing. We missed the ploughing - we were in time to see the
tractors but being purists, we don't see the point of watching tractors - but
saw LOTS of doggy activities. The beer tent sold Hogs Back TEA so I was very
happy!
It was a gorgeous day and a very popular place. Some of the events
were ploughing, tractor maintenance, gun dogs and how to train them, racing
pigeon release (a particular favourite of mine), a poultry exhibit, dog agility
and heaps more! We just couldn't manage to see everything but we had a very
good attempt at it!
