This gorgeous little cottage was built around 1560. It is an excellent example of the change in building design at the end of the medieval era. It departed from the big open plan hall and, instead, went for the chimney in the middle with four rooms heated around it. Of course there's been a lot of changes over the centuries but the central structure is still there.
