Old England

So named for the company whose store it housed, the Old England Building is a fine example of Art Nouveau, being all spirally and swirly. It was built by the company in 1899 and was recently refurbished to house the Musée de Instruments de Musique (the Museum of Musical Instruments). It has over 1500 instruments and the cafe on the top floor has an excellent view over the city...pity we didn't visit it!
