As a sort of a treat, we decided to dine at Brasserie Gerard tonight. Mirinda forced me to have bomb Alaska (it has to be had by two) but otherwise the meal was lovely. The best steak tartare for entree followed by sea bass. And a delicious white wine the likes of which we’ve never had before (they didn’t have the wine we usually select). All up, a lovely evening out of the kitchen for me and a delightful meal. I really, really like Brasserie Gerard.
It may also have been to celebrate the end of Mirinda’s study week.
